Check your headphones

We recommend using headphones when in a POPUP experience.

If you can't hear other users, try adjusting your speaker or headphone set up. Try playing a YouTube video or a song to make sure your speaker or headphones are working.

Hearing other people

If you can't hear someone in your POPUP experience, it's possible that they're having trouble with their microphone settings, have muted themselves, or that you have accidentally muted them.

To check if they have been muted by you, hover over their avatar so you can see their personal details pop-up, rollover their details with your mouse, and click the speaker icon.

Other people hearing you

If others can't hear you, this may be because you have muted yourself or because your microphone is in use by another app.

Check that you haven't muted yourself by rolling over your own personal details pop-up and by checking the mute button in the lower right of the screen:

If that doesn't work, try the instructions in the section on permissions linked below. These explain what to do if your microphone is in use by another application:

Finally, browser compatibility issues can affect your feed. If you still have issues, try switching to Chrome and re-entering the experience.
